MindshareTV podcast with Deborah Quazzo,
Cofounder & Managing Partner of ASU+GSV Summit
taking place August 9-11 in San Diego & online
Welcome to our August Edition of the CanAm EdTech Report.
It's great to be back in the saddle here at the MindShare Workspace after an energizing sailing regatta in Georgian Bay last week. Being part of a team executing highly technical tasks is challenging, rewarding, and frightening at times when you face six foot waves! In case you're wondering, we finished a strong second!
I trust by now you've had time to decompress from the year it's been and are now turning your attention to prepare for back to school.
We're immersed in planning for our 12th Canadian EdTech Leadership Summit. Future-Proofing Education is the theme for this year's edition taking place in a hybrid form, October 27-28.  Check out our featured presenters in this issue!

Issue Highlights:

  1. Exclusive MindShareTV Podcast with Deborah Quazzo, ASU+GSV Summit Co-Founder
  2.  Canada's Dr. Lindy Ledohowski, Founder of EssayJack, MindShareTV Podcast shares her inspiration for her startup success recently acquired by Wize.
  3. Canada's Squiggle Park and Applyboard, two EdTech startups making waves
  4.  Tony Wan, Reach Captial Analyst, MindShareTV CanAM Spotlight podcast on why North American edtechs are coming of age
  5.  Save the Date! 12th Canadian EdTech Leadership Summit--Future-Proofing Education, October 27-28 [Hybrid]. Check out our newly announced presenters! Limited presenter and sponsor opportunities are still available!
  6. Ontario unveils back to school plans to mixed reviews.
  7. OECD Digital Education Outlook 2021: Pushing the frontiers with AI, blockchain, and robots

I hope you enjoy our enhanced CanAm EdTech Report featuring North America-wide news, research, events, careers, success stories, and more!  We'll be taking a two-week break and resuming with our back to school issue later this month.

Educators and industry leaders, drop us a note if you are interested in contributing a blog or podcast as part of our summer professional learning focus.

We are especially grateful during the pandemic for the valued support of our community: educators, sponsors, partners, students, parents, advisory board members, and our team. You inspire excellence in everything we do to help support your collective efforts in helping every student thrive.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to me and share your stories, news, and events with us! We love hearing from you! Or, call me at 416-569-2106.

Until next time, stay healthy, stay safe and keep the digital learning curve steep!
